Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bateaux, circa 1950 by Claude Venard was auctioned at Bonhams in London in December 2020. The price achieved of GBP 3,187.50 (€ 3,560.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Claude Venard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La partie de cartes in June 2014 with an auction result of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 46,854.46).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Bateaux, circa 1950 von Claude Venard kam im Dezember 2020 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 3.187,50 (€ 3.560,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Claude Venard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La partie de cartes im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 46.854,46).
