Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sans titre 1988/206 by Claude Viallat was sold in the REGARDS CROISÉS : COLLECTION JEAN-FRANÇOIS & MARIE-ALINE PRAT - DAY SALE auction at Christies in Paris in October 2017. It changed hands for a price of EUR 27,500.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Claude Viallat - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sans Titre, which sold at auction in May 2021 for EUR 75,600.00.

Die Arbeit Sans titre 1988/206 von Claude Viallat wurde im Oktober 2017 in der Auktion REGARDS CROISÉS : COLLECTION JEAN-FRANÇOIS & MARIE-ALINE PRAT - DAY SALE bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 27.500,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Claude Viallat mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sans Titre beobachtet, die im Mai 2021 für EUR 75.600,00 versteigert wurde.
