This artwork by Clifford Ross achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in October 2017. In the Visionaries: Photographs from the Emily and Jerry Spiegel Collection auction, the work Hurricane II, 2000 sold for USD 18,750.00 (€ 16,097.18) - well above the upper estimate of USD 7,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Clifford Ross; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Grain Vii, 2001 sold at auction in April 2018 with the realized price of USD 32,500.00 (€ 26,917.34).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Clifford Ross erzielte im Oktober 2017 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Visionaries: Photographs from the Emily and Jerry Spiegel Collection wurde die Arbeit Hurricane II, 2000 für USD 18.750,00 (€ 16.097,18) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 7.000,00.
