Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of EUR 4,560.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Coba Ritsema have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The yellow flower in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 24,000.00.

Die Arbeit A Kitchen Still Life With Vegatables And Fruit von Coba Ritsema wurde im März 2007 in der Auktion Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours bei Sothebys in Amsterdam versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 4.560,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Coba Ritsema auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The yellow flower im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 24.000,00.
