In October 2015 Il Ponte held the auction Furniture, Objects and Old Master Painting - Sculptures and Lawn Furnishings, which included the work Where the Lugan flows by Colin Hunter. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 3,000.00 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Colin Hunter - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Salmon fishers, which sold at auction in October 2006 for GBP 7,800.00 (€ 11,653.89).

Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen

Im Oktober 2015 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Furniture, Objects and Old Master Painting - Sculptures and Lawn Furnishings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Where the Lugan flows von Colin Hunter zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 3.000,00 und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Colin Hunter mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Salmon fishers beobachtet, die im Oktober 2006 für GBP 7.800,00 (€ 11.653,89) versteigert wurde.
