The work Troops manoeuvring in an extensive landscape by Cornelis de Wael was sold in the Old Master Pictures auction at Christies in London in July 2004. It changed hands for a price of GBP 33,460.00 (€ 50,565.42) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Troops manoeuvring in an extensive landscape is the most expensive artwork by Cornelis de Wael that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Troops manoeuvring in an extensive landscape von Cornelis de Wael wurde im Juli 2004 in der Auktion Old Master Pictures bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 33.460,00 (€ 50.565,42) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 25.000,00 – 35.000,00.
