The work Three Kittens by Cornelis Raaphorst was auctioned at Sothebys in Amsterdam in March 2007. It achieved a price of EUR 4,200.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 40 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Cornelis Raaphorst - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Bird Cage, which sold at auction in October 2006 for EUR 15,600.00.

Die Arbeit Three Kittens von Cornelis Raaphorst kam im März 2007 bei Sothebys in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 4.200,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 40 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Cornelis Raaphorst mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Bird Cage beobachtet, die im Oktober 2006 für EUR 15.600,00 versteigert wurde.
