This artwork by Cornelis Zitman achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2011. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art auction, the work Dina sold for EUR 39,400.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 16,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Cornelis Zitman; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Lunera sold at auction in May 2011 with the realized price of USD 86,500.00 (€ 60,169.73).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Cornelis Zitman erzielte im November 2011 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Dina für EUR 39.400,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 16.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Cornelis Zitman; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Lunera im Mai 2011 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 86.500,00 (€ 60.169,73).
