It achieved a price of USD 33,400.00 (€ 22,739.65), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 34%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Cornelis Zitman - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Lunera, which sold at auction in May 2011 for USD 86,500.00 (€ 60,169.73).

Die Arbeit Mujer De Pie von Cornelis Zitman wurde im November 2007 in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 33.400,00 (€ 22.739,65) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 34%. Für andere Arbeiten von Cornelis Zitman mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Lunera beobachtet, die im Mai 2011 für USD 86.500,00 (€ 60.169,73) versteigert wurde.
