Auction result well in line with expectations
In March last year Bonhams in London held the auction The Mind's Eye / Surrealist Sale, which included this untitled work by Cruzeiro Seixas. The price achieved of GBP 2,295.00 (€ 2,720.98) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,800.00 – 2,500.00. Admittedly, works by Cruzeiro Seixas have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A noite sem fim in March last year with an auction result of GBP 14,000.00 (€ 16,598.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion The Mind's Eye / Surrealist Sale durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Cruzeiro Seixas zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.295,00 (€ 2.720,98) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.800,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Cruzeiro Seixas auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A noite sem fim im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 14.000,00 (€ 16.598,58).
