In the Post-War and Contemporary Art auction, the work Aktion Rest (Tableau Piège) sold for EUR 37,500.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Daniel Spoerri have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Herdöpfelschälerli, 1963-1979 in May 2015 with an auction result of CHF 156,000.00 (€ 150,877.57).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Daniel Spoerri erzielte im April 2016 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Aktion Rest (Tableau Piège) für EUR 37.500,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Daniel Spoerri auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Herdöpfelschälerli, 1963-1979 im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 156.000,00 (€ 150.877,57).
