The work The flower picker by David Fulton was sold in the BRITISH & CONTINENTAL PICTURES auction at Christies in London in May 2001. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 881.25 (€ 1,477.44), 26% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by David Fulton have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Fishing for tiddlers in October 2004 with an auction result of GBP 4,780.00 (€ 6,879.73).

Die Arbeit The flower picker von David Fulton wurde im Mai 2001 in der Auktion BRITISH & CONTINENTAL PICTURES bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 881,25 (€ 1.477,44) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von David Fulton auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Fishing for tiddlers im Oktober 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.780,00 (€ 6.879,73).
