In November 2012 Christies in London held the auction Vintage Posters, which included the work Hollywood Fly Twa by David Klein. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,847.85), 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by David Klein have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work New York, Fly Twa in April 2012 with an auction result of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,665.45).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im November 2012 führte Christies in London die Auktion Vintage Posters durch, in der auch die Arbeit Hollywood Fly Twa von David Klein zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.500,00 (€ 1.847,85) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von David Klein auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit New York, Fly Twa im April 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.665,45).
