Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In August 2008 Sothebys in Melbourne held the auction Important Australian Art, which included the work Australian 45 by David Larwill. Here, the upper estimate of AUD 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for AUD 31,200.00 (€ 18,212.94). Other works by David Larwill have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of AUD 38,240.00 (€ 23,303.76) in August 2005 for the work What a Month.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im August 2008 führte Sothebys in Melbourne die Auktion Important Australian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Australian 45 von David Larwill zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von AUD 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für AUD 31.200,00 (€ 18.212,94) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von David Larwill haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von AUD 38.240,00 (€ 23.303,76) im August 2005 für die Arbeit What a Month beobachtet.
