In March 2003 Christies in London held the auction TWENTIETH CENTURY BRITISH ART, which included the work Palace Theatre, Cambridge Circus, London by David Thomas. The price achieved of GBP 940.00 (€ 1,361.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00.
