Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Resting in the wood by David Woodlock was sold in the AT HOME - BRITISH AND CONTINENTAL PICTURES AND WORKS OF ART auction at Christies in London in March 2004. The price achieved of GBP 418.25 (€ 626.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 350.00 – 500.00. Admittedly, works by David Woodlock have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Landscape Painter in November 2005 with an auction result of GBP 4,200.00 (€ 6,170.33).
