It achieved a price of GBP 158,500.00 (€ 224,699.76), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 32%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dirck van Delen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work An architectural capriccio with Jephthah and his daughter, which sold at auction in April 2017 for USD 667,500.00 (€ 612,666.36).
