Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Dirk Vellert could be acquired at Christies in London in December 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Old Master Prints auction, the work Saint Luke painting the Virgin changed hands for GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,472.96) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Dirk Vellert - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Temptation of Christ, which sold at auction in July last year for GBP 7,560.00 (€ 9,027.98).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Dirk Vellert konnte im Dezember 2021 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Old Master Prints wechselte die Arbeit Saint Luke painting the Virgin für GBP 3.750,00 (€ 4.472,96) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Dirk Vellert mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Temptation of Christ beobachtet, die im Juli letzten Jahres für GBP 7.560,00 (€ 9.027,98) versteigert wurde.
