Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2021 Christies held the auction Russian Art, which included the work Six Compositions From The Series 'Appearances': Sakharov, Stalin, Prigov, Perestroika, Nepravda, Glasnost by Dmitry Prigov. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 26,218.35) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Dmitry Prigov have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2007 the work Man was auctioned for GBP 20,900.00 (€ 29,265.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2021 führte Christies die Auktion Russian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Six Compositions From The Series 'Appearances': Sakharov, Stalin, Prigov, Perestroika, Nepravda, Glasnost von Dmitry Prigov zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 22.500,00 (€ 26.218,35) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Dmitry Prigov konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2007 die Arbeit Man für GBP 20.900,00 (€ 29.265,41) versteigert.
