Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September this year Koller held the auction Sammlung Dr. med. Sylvia Legrain, which included the work Anbetung des Kindes mit Hirten und Hl. Johannes d. Täufer. by Domenico di Zanobi. The »bidding war« ended at CHF 17,500.00 (€ 18,086.97), 17% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Domenico di Zanobi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Madonna adoring the Christ Child with the infant Saint John the Baptist, Joseph and the Annunciation to the Shepherds in April 2007 with an auction result of USD 288,000.00 (€ 210,834.55).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September diesen Jahres führte Koller die Auktion Sammlung Dr. med. Sylvia Legrain durch, in der auch die Arbeit Anbetung des Kindes mit Hirten und Hl. Johannes d. Täufer. von Domenico di Zanobi zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von CHF 17.500,00 (€ 18.086,97) und damit 17% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Domenico di Zanobi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Madonna adoring the Christ Child with the infant Saint John the Baptist, Joseph and the Annunciation to the Shepherds im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 288.000,00 (€ 210.834,55).
