Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 3,150.00 (€ 2,595.80). Admittedly, works by Domenico Mondo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Triumph Of Hercules in April 2013 with an auction result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,800.58).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit An Allegory of Painting von Domenico Mondo kam im Januar 2021 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 3.150,00 (€ 2.595,80) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Domenico Mondo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Triumph Of Hercules im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.800,58).
