Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Indien Chassant Sur Sa Pirogue by Duchoiselle was auctioned at Artcurial in Paris in May last year. The price achieved of EUR 3,936.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Duchoiselle achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work French la Pêche, La Chasse in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 87,500.00 (€ 67,369.88).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Indien Chassant Sur Sa Pirogue von Duchoiselle kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Artcurial in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.936,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Duchoiselle erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit French la Pêche, La Chasse im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 87.500,00 (€ 67.369,88).
