Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Duncan Grant achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vanessa Bell in a Yellow Shawl 72.7 x 51.5 cm. (28 5/8 x 20 1/4 in.) in November last year with an auction result of GBP 327,900.00 (€ 379,961.23).

Die Arbeit Female Nude von Duncan Grant kam im Juni 2002 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 3.290,00 (€ 5.088,88) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 65%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Duncan Grant erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Vanessa Bell in a Yellow Shawl 72.7 x 51.5 cm. (28 5/8 x 20 1/4 in.) im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 327.900,00 (€ 379.961,23).
