In October this year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 20th/21st Century Art Online, which included the work Animal Heroes Series – Hero Girl by Edgar Plans. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 756,000 (€ 96,878), 51% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Edgar Plans have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Colors in March this year with an auction result of CNY 4,410,000 (€ 626,933).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 51% übertroffen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th/21st Century Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Animal Heroes Series – Hero Girl von Edgar Plans zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 756.000 (€ 96.878) und damit 51% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Edgar Plans auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Colors im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 4.410.000 (€ 626.933).
