Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Windsor by Edmund Bristow was auctioned at Christies in London in September 2006. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 5,040.00 (€ 7,435.06). Admittedly, works by Edmund Bristow have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Windsor Castle in July 2012 with an auction result of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 30,251.12).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Windsor von Edmund Bristow kam im September 2006 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 5.040,00 (€ 7.435,06) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Edmund Bristow auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Windsor Castle im Juli 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 30.251,12).
