Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work H.M. Yacht Victoria off Dunrobin by Eduardo Frederico de Martino was auctioned at Bonhams in Edinburgh in April 2021, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 280.50 (€ 322.66). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Eduardo Frederico de Martino achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'Entente Cordiale: The Royal Yacht Victoria & Albert III reviewing the Anglo-French fleet in Cowes Road, 1905 in December 2018 with an auction result of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 41,778.33).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit H.M. Yacht Victoria off Dunrobin von Eduardo Frederico de Martino im April 2021 bei Bonhams in Edinburgh versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für GBP 280,50 (€ 322,66) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Eduardo Frederico de Martino erzielen.
