In the MoMA: Tracing Photography's History auction, the work Natica Nast, 1926 changed hands for USD 1,875.00 (€ 1,601.74) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Edward Steichen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Flatiron in November last year with an auction result of USD 11,840,000.00 (€ 11,469,534.05).
