Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2005 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work Lynx by Eike Heinrich Redel. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,920.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Other works by Eike Heinrich Redel have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in February 2004 the work Tiger in Lotusteich - Tiger in Lotus pond was auctioned for EUR 3,824.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2005 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lynx von Eike Heinrich Redel zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.920,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Eike Heinrich Redel konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Februar 2004 die Arbeit Tiger in Lotusteich - Tiger in Lotus pond für EUR 3.824,00 versteigert.
