The work The White Man's Eyes, 1930 by William Elling Gollings was sold in the Western Art auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in November this year. The »bidding war« ended at USD 4,096.00 (€ 3,755.04), 64% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by William Elling Gollings achieve.
