Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Émile-Louis Picault could be acquired at Il Ponte in October last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Furniture and Old Master Paintings auction, the work Escholier changed hands for EUR 600.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 650.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Émile-Louis Picault achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Priest And The Scribe in April 2020 with an auction result of GBP 125,000.00 (€ 143,792.79).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Émile-Louis Picault konnte im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Il Ponte für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Furniture and Old Master Paintings wechselte die Arbeit Escholier für EUR 600,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 650,00 – 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Émile-Louis Picault erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Priest And The Scribe im April 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 125.000,00 (€ 143.792,79).
