This artwork by Toshiyuki Enoki achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in March 2021. In the Japanese and Korean Art auction, the work Sennyu (Spring), 2017 sold for USD 20,000.00 (€ 17,031.42) - well above the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Toshiyuki Enoki have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Joyful monkey; & Playful Monkey in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 687,500.00 (€ 79,462.28).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Toshiyuki Enoki erzielte im März 2021 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Japanese and Korean Art wurde die Arbeit Sennyu (Spring), 2017 für USD 20.000,00 (€ 17.031,42) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Toshiyuki Enoki auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Joyful monkey; & Playful Monkey im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 687.500,00 (€ 79.462,28).
