In November 2015 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art, which included the work Generale by Enrico Baj. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 10,000.00 43% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Enrico Baj achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Grande spettacolo in June 2019 with an auction result of EUR 130,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 43 % übertroffen
Im November 2015 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Generale von Enrico Baj zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 10.000,00 und damit 43% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Enrico Baj erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Grande spettacolo im Juni 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 130.000,00.
