Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Enzo Cucchi could be acquired at Christies in London in February 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work L'Elefante di Giotto changed hands for GBP 187.50 (€ 223.88) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Enzo Cucchi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Quadro Santo in June 2006 with an auction result of GBP 568,000.00 (€ 821,886.53).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Enzo Cucchi konnte im Februar 2012 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Christie's Interiors wechselte die Arbeit L'Elefante di Giotto für GBP 187,50 (€ 223,88) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300,00 – 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Enzo Cucchi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Quadro Santo im Juni 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 568.000,00 (€ 821.886,53).
