Auction result well in line with expectations
The work L'Hiver En Autriche by Erich von Wunschheim was sold in the 20/21 Posters The Ski Sale auction at Christies in London in January 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,125.00 (€ 1,497.28) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Erich von Wunschheim achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Autriche in January 2014 with an auction result of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 19,800.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit L'Hiver En Autriche von Erich von Wunschheim wurde im Januar 2015 in der Auktion 20/21 Posters The Ski Sale bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.125,00 (€ 1.497,28) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Erich von Wunschheim erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Autriche im Januar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 19.800,93).
