In June last year Il Ponte held the auction Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo, which included the work Canal Grande, Venezia by Erma Zago. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,900.00 58% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Erma Zago; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Roma, Piazza Del Popolo sold at auction in June 2005 with the realized price of EUR 2,728.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 58 % übertroffen
Im Juni letzten Jahres führte Il Ponte die Auktion Dipinti e Sculture del XIX e XX Secolo durch, in der auch die Arbeit Canal Grande, Venezia von Erma Zago zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.900,00 und damit 58% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Erma Zago; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Roma, Piazza Del Popolo im Juni 2005 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 2.728,00.
