Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Veduta di Piazza San Marco. Venezia by Erma Zago was auctioned at Il Ponte in November 2015, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 900.00 – 950.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Erma Zago - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Roma, Piazza Del Popolo, which sold at auction in June 2005 for EUR 2,728.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Veduta di Piazza San Marco. Venezia von Erma Zago im November 2015 bei Il Ponte versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 900,00 – 950,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 800,00 den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Erma Zago mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Roma, Piazza Del Popolo beobachtet, die im Juni 2005 für EUR 2.728,00 versteigert wurde.
