Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Le Joyeux Mendiant by Ernest Bieler was auctioned at Sothebys in Zurich in June 2017. The price achieved of CHF 137,500.00 (€ 125,703.27) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CHF 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ernest Bieler have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Trois Jeunes Filles De Granois, 1920 in June 2017 with an auction result of CHF 672,500.00 (€ 614,803.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Le Joyeux Mendiant von Ernest Bieler kam im Juni 2017 bei Sothebys in Zürich zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CHF 137.500,00 (€ 125.703,27) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CHF 120.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ernest Bieler auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Trois Jeunes Filles De Granois, 1920 im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 672.500,00 (€ 614.803,26).
