A top price for Ernst Klinger - as previously expected
The work Cántaros by Ernst Klinger was auctioned at Christies in London in February 2019. It changed hands for a price of GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,749.01) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Cántaros is the most expensive artwork by Ernst Klinger that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Cántaros von Ernst Klinger kam im Februar 2019 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.749,01) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Cántaros das teuerste Kunstwerk von Ernst Klinger, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
