Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2000 Christies in Milan held the auction Arte del XX secolo, which included the work Giocoliere n. 2 by Ettore Colla. The price achieved of ITL 117,500,000.00 (€ 100,771.87) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as ITL 100,000,000.00 – 150,000,000.00. Other works by Ettore Colla have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in April 2013 the work Concerto was auctioned for EUR 127,200.00.

Im Mai 2000 führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion Arte del XX secolo durch, in der auch die Arbeit Giocoliere n. 2 von Ettore Colla zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von ITL 117.500.000,00 (€ 100.771,87) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit ITL 100.000.000,00 – 150.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Ettore Colla konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im April 2013 die Arbeit Concerto für EUR 127.200,00 versteigert.
