Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ub Recuerdo De La Villa Borghese (A Rememberance Of The Villa Borghese) by Fabian de La Rosa was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in October 2003. The price achieved of HKD 215,100.00 (€ 23,846.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 180,000.00 – 280,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fabian de La Rosa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Women working in a rice field in October 2000 with an auction result of SGD 713,750.00 (€ 478,749.12).

Die Arbeit Ub Recuerdo De La Villa Borghese (A Rememberance Of The Villa Borghese) von Fabian de La Rosa kam im Oktober 2003 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 215.100,00 (€ 23.846,47) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 180.000,00 – 280.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fabian de La Rosa erzielen.
