Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October 2008 Christies in Dubai held the auction International Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Red Rum (My Red Bed) by Farhad Moshiri. Here, the upper estimate of USD 180,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 182,500.00 (€ 143,904.75). Admittedly, works by Farhad Moshiri have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Secret Garden in April 2013 with an auction result of USD 987,750.00 (€ 750,113.91).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober 2008 führte Christies in Dubai die Auktion International Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Red Rum (My Red Bed) von Farhad Moshiri zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 180.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 182.500,00 (€ 143.904,75) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Farhad Moshiri auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Secret Garden im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 987.750,00 (€ 750.113,91).
