Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2018 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Urban Art, which included the work Optichromie 15 - 2015 by Felipe Pantone. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 2,000.00 – 4,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 2,340.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Felipe Pantone achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chromadynamica Manipulable in November 2019 with an auction result of HKD 325,000.00 (€ 37,693.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2018 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Urban Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Optichromie 15 - 2015 von Felipe Pantone zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 2.340,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Felipe Pantone erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chromadynamica Manipulable im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 325.000,00 (€ 37.693,98).
