Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Promenade en gondole sur la lagune by Félix Ziem was auctioned at Bonhams in London in March 2021. The price achieved of GBP 18,375.00 (€ 21,585.89) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Félix Ziem have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bateau pavoisé lors de la fête de l’Assomption in July 2017 with an auction result of GBP 191,000.00 (€ 213,126.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Promenade en gondole sur la lagune von Félix Ziem kam im März 2021 bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 18.375,00 (€ 21.585,89) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Félix Ziem auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bateau pavoisé lors de la fête de l’Assomption im Juli 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 191.000,00 (€ 213.126,67).
