Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Etudes De Têtes De Femme by Félix-Henri Giacomotti was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in June 2008, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 2,500.00. Admittedly, works by Félix-Henri Giacomotti have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Zenobie Découverte Par Les Bergers Sur Les Rives De L'Araxefelix-Henry Giacomotti ; Zenobia Found By The Shepherds On The Banks Of The Arax ; Signed Lower Right ; Oil On Canvas in June 2013 with an auction result of EUR 25,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Etudes De Têtes De Femme von Félix-Henri Giacomotti im Juni 2008 bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 2.500,00 den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Félix-Henri Giacomotti auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Zenobie Découverte Par Les Bergers Sur Les Rives De L'Araxefelix-Henry Giacomotti ; Zenobia Found By The Shepherds On The Banks Of The Arax ; Signed Lower Right ; Oil On Canvas im Juni 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 25.000,00.
