Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Ferencz Eisenhut achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in April 2014. In the The Orientalist Sale auction, the work Hungarian Captive In The Harem sold for GBP 146,500.00 (€ 178,324.41) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 70,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Ferencz Eisenhut; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Hungarian by The City Gate sold at auction in April 2015 with the realized price of GBP 185,000.00 (€ 254,047.66).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ferencz Eisenhut erzielte im April 2014 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Orientalist Sale wurde die Arbeit Hungarian Captive In The Harem für GBP 146.500,00 (€ 178.324,41) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 70.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Ferencz Eisenhut; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Hungarian by The City Gate im April 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 185.000,00 (€ 254.047,66).
