The »bidding war« ended at GBP 352,800.00 (€ 421,305.86), 18% above the upper estimate. Other works by Fernand Khnopff have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 422,500.00 (€ 493,968.47) in May 2013 for the work Belgian les Enfants De Monsieur Neve.
