Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Fore Aeternum, Futur by Fernand Khnopff was auctioned at Bonhams in Paris in October this year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 150,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 165,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fernand Khnopff - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Belgian les Enfants De Monsieur Neve, which sold at auction in May 2013 for GBP 422,500.00 (€ 493,968.47).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Fore Aeternum, Futur von Fernand Khnopff kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 150.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 165.500,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Fernand Khnopff mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Belgian les Enfants De Monsieur Neve beobachtet, die im Mai 2013 für GBP 422.500,00 (€ 493.968,47) versteigert wurde.
