Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Francesco Furini achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Paris in November 2019. In the Paintings Drawings Sculptures 1300-1900 auction, the work Generosity Or Liberality sold for EUR 50,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francesco Furini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Abigail Before David in January 2008 with an auction result of USD 959,400.00 (€ 646,452.40).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Francesco Furini erzielte im November 2019 bei Sothebys in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Paintings Drawings Sculptures 1300-1900 wurde die Arbeit Generosity Or Liberality für EUR 50.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 18.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francesco Furini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Abigail Before David im Januar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 959.400,00 (€ 646.452,40).
