However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Francesco Peluso - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Italian An Algerian Caravan At Rest, which sold at auction in April 2008 for USD 23,750.00 (€ 15,255.65).

Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 3.760,00 (€ 6.436,97) einen neuen Besitzer.
