Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

In October 2017 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Francis Giacobetti Photographs, which included the work Anatomy Lesson - 1974 by Francis Giacobetti. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 6,500.00. Admittedly, works by Francis Giacobetti have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Zebra 17, Paris Studio - 1998 in October 2017 with an auction result of EUR 42,900.00.

Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen

Im Oktober 2017 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Francis Giacobetti Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Anatomy Lesson - 1974 von Francis Giacobetti zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 6.500,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Francis Giacobetti auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Zebra 17, Paris Studio - 1998 im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 42.900,00.
